2024 Cluster V Athletic Meet Screening Committee Orientation

In preparation for the 2024 Cluster V Athletic Meet, an orientation was held for members of the Screening Committees to ensure fair and efficient selection processes. Organized by the Department of Education (DepEd) in collaboration with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of La Castellana, the orientation covered the roles and responsibilities of committee members, guidelines for athlete eligibility, and protocols for event-specific qualifications.

During the session, officials provided training on evaluating athlete documentation and conducting physical assessments in compliance with DepEd’s standards for school sports. Emphasis was placed on impartiality, transparency, and adherence to established guidelines, aiming to maintain integrity throughout the selection process.

The orientation concluded with a Q&A session, where committee members discussed potential challenges and clarified procedures.
