Ceremonial Opening Tip-Off Marks the Start of 2024 Cluster V Athletic Meet Basketball Tournament

The 2024 Cluster V Athletic Meet officially started with an exciting ceremonial tip-off for the first basketball game, held at the La Castellana Municipal Gymnasium.

Leading the opening were Hon. Alme Rhummyla G. Nicor-Mangilimutan, Municipal Mayor of La Castellana, who warmly welcomed the athletes and spectators, and Ma. Tressa G. Elbanbuena, Public Schools District Supervisor of La Castellana – I, emphasizing the importance of sportsmanship in her message. Oliver Koch, the Municipal Sports Coordinator, also expressed his enthusiasm for this year’s tournament and commended the athletes for their dedication.

The ceremonial tip-off symbolizes unity and the spirit of friendly competition as players from competing delegations took their positions on the court, ready to battle it out for glory.

With high energy and strong support from the crowd, the basketball games promise to be one of the highlights of this year’s athletic meet!
